QUBE is on sale @ GOG.Com

29 08 14 - 11:04

I wouldn't normally do this, but in 2011 I held a contest over at PlanetQuake for Christmas. Toxic Games, the developer behind the puzzle game QUBE, gave me a couple Steam keys to give away for the contest.

That game is currently on sale at GOG.com for $4, so if you like puzzle games pick this one up. I recommend it.

So THANK YOU Toxic Games for supporting the Quake community!

TastySpleen 500 This Sunday!

Dust off those clicky fingers, it's the TastySpleen 500! What is the TS 500 you ask? Quake 2, first to 500 frags wins!

It's this Sunday at 6pm Eastern (3 Pacific), server address of tastyspleen.net:27999. Or, if you're already in a TS server, in the console type “goto ts500”.

Go and have a blast! Interested but don't have Q2? You can get the Quake 2 Starter here.

Fuzzylogicinc has a new Page

30 06 14 - 11:04

Not game related, but up until the weekend if you went to the main site (http://www.fuzzylogicinc.com) it had a page telling you it works.  But it didn't show anything.  :)  So now there's something at http://www.fuzzylogicinc.com!  It's an easy way to get around the Fuzzylogic Solar System.  It makes more sense when you take a look, but that will be the new hub for sites added to the namesake!

There's Games, EarthQuake (this site), id Tech Forums and 48 Hour Films.

Ok, shameless plug over.  :)

QuakeCon General Registration Starts Tonight

16 04 14 - 19:02

There is no BYOC seats left to purchase, the only way to get one is to win one now. The general registration is for anyone not wanting a BYOC seat. For example, you want to check out the exhibits or just walk around the BYOC.

There is also the Swag Pack Presented by Logitech G, which includes an official QuakeCon shirt, two special edition shirts, poster and backpack for the game The Evil Within, a QuakeCon 2014 Logotech gaming headset, an Elder Scrolls Online mousepad and a 1 year “Pro” subscription to Quake Live.

All this starts tonight at 7pm CT/8pm ET.

QuakeCon, the ultimate video game festival, will take place on-site at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, TX on Thursday, July 17 – Sunday, July 20. Doors to QuakeCon will open on Thursday, July 17th at 10:00am CT and will remain open through July 20th. For more information visit: www.quakecon.org.

EarthQuake is Upgrading!

10 04 14 - 10:08

I'm moving to my own webhost.  Yeah!  That means a couple things, the most important is that the site "earthquake.fuzzylogicinc.com" will no longer be a domain forward, it will be an actual subdomain of "fuzzylogicinc.com".

The other biggest backend feature will be the upgrading of the database of files the site uses to a real database vs flat files.  I'm hoping nothing will be lost in the transition, but I will make sure that the URL won't be changed until the new site works.  So, stay tuned!

Press Signups at QuakeCon

13 03 14 - 03:54

Now the press (gaming sites, news, etc.) can signup for QuakeCon. If you want a BYOC you still need to sign up for a seperate BYOC seat.  Each member of your group will need to sign up, so make sure the camera and boom guy sign up too!

To register for a Press pass use this special signup page.
