Grimm: Quest for the Gatherer's Key Source Code Release

Yesterday was the mod's final release, today is the code release. You can download it over at Doom3World. It's free for other D3 modders to use. For a list of features click “Read More”.

Small list of code additions in source:

- Lots of upgrade on items, item pickups and added effects, item pickup flashes, item pickup fx, item pickup sounds etc..etc..
- Autosave / Checkpoint coding
- Lots of SDK only functions made available through scripting (that were otherwise not available)
- The ability to run 'sourcecode' from script (e.g. send command and console commands directly through script)
- Split difficulty modes for 'the world' and 'combat'.
- Alternate fire modes
- Time Slowdown code available via script (e.g. slow down time)
- Added lots of extra console variables and commands
- Dynamic World Painting code
- Added lots of dynamic options (e.g. turn off ragdolls, turn of decals, tweak decals and moveables etc..etc..)
- Complete secrets and breakables counter code
- Added 'sticky' projectiles (e.g. projectiles that get stuck on surfaces and creatures)
- Usable Health
- Lots and lots more!!!!
- Savegame optimisations
